Carol Burnett says 'Adolescence is just one big walking pimple'. It's not welcome since we tend to cling on to our childhood, reluctant to let go. It robs you of your innocent charm and slowly and gradually transforms you into someone you have never known. You suddenly wake up one fine day and get surprised to see your own self in the mirror. Whether you welcome it or not, it is here and you have to live it. Children may find it difficult to handle things initially, but like they say, time teaches everything. They too will learn the art of living over time and teenage years subside to be a problem. Believe it or not, teenage years are the most electrifying years of one's life. You suddenly become responsible for all your actions and take your own decisions in life. Here are a few simple pieces of advice to help you live your teenage years responsibly.
Control the adrenaline rush
Teenage years are known for the adrenaline rush children experience for the first time in their lives. They can feel the adrenaline kicking in their veins goading them to jump into things. They become their own guardians; they decide what to do and what not to. This is what you need to control. I do not intend to say that adrenaline rush is a bad thing; all I mean to say is that teenagers are too young to understand the good and bad in life. Doing everything you feel like is not the right way to behave in teenage years. You need to keep an eye on your own activities.
Be choosy about friends

Be choosy about friends
Although we
make friends all our lives, the process of befriending is at its peak in
the teenage years. Our reach is extended, our limitations lessened as
we meet new people every now and
then. Friendship is in the air. However, this does not mean you should
go ahead and befriend anyone and everyone. You must be very choosy about
befriending people; they are the ones who will know all about you. Stay
away from those smarty pants you think are way better than you. You
should make friends with those who make you comfortable with them, and
not those who want you to become like them.
Stepping into
your teenage years mean you will hang out with friends more frequently.
Hanging out more often means you will eat out more often, which would be
junk food most of the time. We all are aware of the junk food craze,
especially when you have your newly achieved freedom by your side to
enjoy. However, you must think of the effect of the junk food on your
health. Junk food lacks the nutritional value
because of which your digestive system doesn't work properly. This may
lead to constipation and consequently to the appearance of acne on your
face. Although people tend to forget all these when they see the cheese
oozing out of the burger or the spread on the pizza, keeping a balance
will help. If not, visiting acne doctors would be your last resort.
